Why is Apple splitting the iPhone 18 launch into two parts instead of releasing everything in September?
I've been reading that Apple is only launching the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and its first foldable iPhone this September, while the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e won't come out until spring 2027. This seems like a big change from how Apple normally does things. Why would they split the release like this, and does it mean anything for pricing or which model is worth waiting for?
