AI Policy
How FindEdition may use AI-assisted tools, how humans stay in the loop, and what we do — and do not — promise about automated help.

At a glance
FindEdition may use AI-assisted tools for summaries, recommendations, and SEO. Human editors review published content.
- AI may assist with drafts, summaries, recommendations, metadata, and SEO tasks.
- Human editors review content before it is published as FindEdition editorial material.
- We do not claim that all site content is written entirely without AI tools.
- We do not claim that every AI-assisted passage is individually fact-checked in a separate public audit.
Overview
FindEdition builds findedition.com as a multi-section platform: news and publishing, entertainment discovery, mobiles and autos, recipes, tools, jobs, and community features. Across that breadth, AI systems can speed research, drafting, labeling, and recommendations. Speed is useful only when paired with accountability.
This AI Policy explains how we think about assistance, review, disclosure, and risk. It works with our Editorial Policy, Content Standards, and Corrections Policy. It does not replace the Privacy Policy for data practices or the Terms of Service for account rules.
Technology changes quickly. When our default practices change in a material way, we update this page’s date and revise the wording readers rely on.
Our Standing Disclosure
FindEdition may use AI-assisted tools for summaries, recommendations, and SEO. Human editors review published content.
That sentence is the core promise we make site-wide. It is intentionally balanced: we admit that AI tools may be used, and we state that humans review published content. It is not a claim that AI never touches a draft, and it is not a claim that machines publish unsupervised.
Where AI played a meaningful role in a specific article, we may add a more specific note in the article footer or an “About this article” area. Absence of a per-article badge does not mean tools were unused for minor SEO or summarization tasks; presence of a badge means we judged the assistance significant enough to call out.
Where AI May Help
Examples of AI-assisted work on FindEdition include, without limitation:
- Draft outlines, alternative headlines, or meta descriptions for SEO.
- Summaries of long material for cards, hubs, or “at a glance” boxes.
- Recommendation hints for related titles, recipes, devices, or articles.
- Translation drafts or phrasing suggestions that a human then edits.
- Internal research assistance that editors verify before publishing claims.
- Help desk or chat assistants that answer product questions in labeled AI interfaces.
Entertainment discovery pages may combine licensed metadata with editorial text. AI might help summarize plots or generate short blurbs; humans remain responsible for not inventing credits, release facts, or awards. FindEdition does not stream or host downloadable movies — AI tools are not a substitute for legal access to works on third-party services.
Human Editorial Review
Published FindEdition editorial content is reviewed by humans before it goes live. Review can include checking facts against sources, fixing tone, removing unsafe instructions, confirming that titles match the body, and ensuring disclosures are present when commercial modules apply.
“Reviewed” means a person takes responsibility for publishing. It does not mean an academic peer-review process, a legal certification, or a guarantee that no error remains. When errors are found later, we follow the Corrections Policy.
We do not publish large batches of unedited machine text as if it were finished journalism. If a workflow ever produces low-quality automated pages, those pages should be improved or removed under our content standards.
What We Do Not Claim
Honesty about AI requires avoiding over-promises that sound reassuring but are false.
- We do not claim that all FindEdition content is exclusively human-written with no AI assistance.
- We do not claim that every AI-assisted sentence receives an individual, separately documented fact-check.
- We do not claim AI chat answers are licensed professional advice.
- We do not claim AI recommendations are free of bias or ranking trade-offs.
- We do not sell “AI-written positive reviews” as undisclosed editorial coverage.
Ratings remain governed by our Rating Methodology. AI may help surface related titles; it does not quietly rewrite combined scores to favor partners.
On-Site AI Assistants & Tools
FindEdition may offer labeled AI chat, helpdesk, or content-assistance features. Those interfaces should be presented as assistants, not as human experts on the other end of the line. Outputs can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. For account and billing issues, prefer human support channels when available.
Free online tools on FindEdition (calculators, converters, and similar utilities) may use conventional code, AI components, or both. Tool output is for general informational use. Users remain responsible for how they apply results, especially for financial or technical decisions.
Health, Finance, Law & Safety
AI systems can sound confident while being incorrect. For health, legal, and financial topics, FindEdition content — whether human-drafted, AI-assisted, or both — is general information. It is not a diagnosis, a legal opinion, or personalized financial advice. Consult qualified professionals for decisions that affect your rights, health, or money.
Recipe and food content requires user judgment on allergies and food safety. Mobiles and autos specs and prices may change; verify before purchase. Jobs listings are third-party submissions with verification limits. AI summaries of any of those areas inherit the same caveats.
We aim to block or remove AI-assisted outputs that promote illegal activity, scams, or clear harm when we become aware of them, consistent with community and content standards.
User-Generated Content & AI
Users may write questions, comments, reviews, articles, or listings with or without their own AI tools. That content is not FindEdition staff editorial unless posted from an official account. Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what they submit under the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
FindEdition may use automated systems to help detect spam, scams, or abuse. Automation assists moderation; it does not create a duty to catch every violation instantly.
Data, Privacy & Vendors
When AI features process prompts or content, data handling follows our Privacy Policy and any in-product notices. Do not paste secrets, passwords, or sensitive personal data into public AI chats. Vendor models and hosting locations can change; we describe practices at a policy level rather than listing every subprocessors’ marketing name here.
Cookie and advertising consent — including the CMP cookie used for ad consent when advertising services are enabled — is separate from AI chat features. See our Cookies policy and Advertising Policy for commercial tracking context.
Feedback & Contact
If an AI summary looks wrong, treat it like any other potential error: send the URL, the disputed text, and a better source via the contact form’s Editorial/Content category or [email protected]. Product bugs in AI interfaces go to [email protected]. Legal concerns go to [email protected].
