What is "agentic AI" and how is it different from the AI assistants we already use, like ChatGPT or Google Assistant?
I keep hearing "agentic AI" mentioned at almost every tech event this year, including Samsung's latest Unpacked and various developer conferences. From what I gather, it's supposed to actually complete multi-step tasks on its own instead of just answering questions. Is that accurate? What can it actually do right now in 2026 that older AI assistants couldn't, and are there real examples people are using day to day?
