What is fibermaxxing and does eating more fiber actually make a difference?

Jul 22, 2026 1 views
I keep seeing "fibermaxxing" everywhere this year — on wellness pages, in health articles, even in grocery store marketing. From what I understand, it means deliberately eating way more fiber than usual, like 30–40 grams a day instead of the typical 15. Is this actually backed by anything, or is it just another wellness buzzword? What foods should I be eating if I want to try it, and is it safe to jump into without talking to a doctor first?
