Design

Nothing Phone (3) keeps the brand's transparent industrial style while replacing the previous Glyph strips with a circular Glyph Matrix containing 489 micro-LEDs. The aluminum frame and glass construction feel premium, while the rear design remains intentionally unconventional.

Display

The 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display uses a 1260 x 2800 resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and very high peak brightness. It is sharp, vibrant and highly responsive for media, gaming and outdoor use.

Performance

Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 provides fast flagship-level performance for everyday apps, multitasking, photography and demanding workloads. It is highly capable, although it sits below the very fastest Snapdragon 8 Elite devices.

Gaming

Gaming performance is strong, with smooth frame rates and capable graphics. The chipset handles demanding titles well, though dedicated gaming phones and top-tier flagship processors can sustain higher peak performance.

Camera

The camera system includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto, a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP front camera. This gives the Phone (3) broad focal-length coverage and strong portrait, zoom and selfie capability.

Battery

The global model uses a 5,150mAh battery and supports 65W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and reverse charging. Endurance is dependable, and a full wired charge takes roughly an hour under suitable conditions.

Software

Nothing OS launched on Android 15 and later received Nothing OS 4. Its clean interface, dot-matrix visual language, useful widgets and limited bloatware remain major strengths.

Ai

Essential Space and Essential Search organize screenshots, recordings, notes and saved content. Google Gemini and Circle to Search provide additional generative and contextual AI features.

Connectivity

The Phone (3) supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, eSIM, dual SIM, GPS and USB-C. Wireless charging and broad network support make it a complete flagship connectivity package.

Pros

  • Distinctive Glyph Matrix design
  • Sharp and bright 120Hz AMOLED display
  • Versatile four-camera 50MP system
  • Strong Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 performance
  • Clean Nothing OS software
  • Wireless charging
  • Long software-support policy
  • Wi-Fi 7 and eSIM

Cons

  • Expensive compared with previous Nothing phones
  • Not powered by the fastest flagship Snapdragon chip
  • No expandable storage
  • Large and relatively heavy
  • Polarizing rear design
Nothing Phone (3) is the company's 2025 flagship smartphone, combining a 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 performance, a four-camera 50MP system, and the new Glyph Matrix made from 489 micro-LEDs. It offers 12GB or 16GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of storage, a 5,150mAh battery in global markets, 65W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, Wi-Fi 7, eSIM, IP68 protection, stereo speakers, and Nothing OS based on Android. Its strongest qualities are distinctive design, clean software, strong performance, versatile cameras, long support, and a highly customizable notification interface.

Verdict

Nothing Phone (3) is a bold premium Android phone with excellent display quality, clean software, strong cameras and a unique Glyph Matrix. Its price and non-elite chipset are the main concerns, but it remains one of the most distinctive flagships available.

Final: 8.5/10 Best for: Photography enthusiasts Segment: Premium
